The College Council nominates the members of the council, they must not be less than seven and not more than eleven members. The formation is approved by the university president according to the following criteria:
- The council includes: College Dean, Vice Dean for Educational and Academic Affairs, Vice Dean for Development and Quality, (seven to eleven) members with experience within the Kingdom or abroad, and among them are some of the College’s distinguished graduates.
- The council chooses the president and deputy in its first session. The Vice Dean for Development and Quality is the council's secretary.
- The council meets at least twice a year at the invitation of its president.
- The council’s sessions may be held inside or outside the college, and it may invite whomever from outside the council to attend its sessions.
- The membership of the Council is for two years and renewable.
- Council members obtain a certificate of appreciation upon the expiry of their membership term.
- The recommendations of the Advisory Council are presented to the College Council.
