First of all, I welcome you to the website of the College of Education in Al-Kharj, and on the page of Female Student Affairs Deanship, which is one of the most important deanships of the college. It is the main channel of communication between the college and its female students since their admission until their graduation.
The development that the university is witnessing today and the pioneering roles played by Prince Sattam Bin Abdulaziz University had the greatest impact on reaching the college to such progress and development. The Female Student Affairs Deanship seeks to enhance its role to provide an ideal educational environment that contributes to advancing the progress, serving the educational process in the college and to raise the efficiency of college staff, and providing an academic atmosphere in an academic environment. I have the honor of being assigned as Vice Dean for Female Student Affairs at the College of Education in Al-Kharj, through which we are keen to provide the best services to female staff, female students, and female employees, to nurture creativity and develop it for everyone, and to supervise the educational flow and implement approved programs in accordance with the executive regulations and rules of the university to prepare qualified cadres to meet the requirements of the labor market.
Vice Dean for Student Affairs
Responsibilities of the Vice Dean:
- 1- Supervising the implementation of College's strategic plan for female students
- 2- Supervising the management of educational, administrative, financial and cultural affairs of college with regard to female students.
- 3- Coordinating and developing college’s relations within the university with regard to female students
- 4- Supervising the provision of all college's educational, research, administrative and financial requirements with regard to female students.
- 5- Supervising the performance of academic departments with regard to female students.
- 6- Maintaining college's fixed and mobile properties in the departments of female students.
- 7- Establish strong relationships with various community institutions in coordination with the competent authorities
- 8- Improving the mental image of the college in its field of competence
- 9- Implementing and following up the decisions of the College Council in its field of competence
- 10- Developing performance in the female student departments administratively and academically
- 11- Coordinating and organizing the administrative and organizational relationship with college dean, vice deans, and heads of departments, each in their field of occupational competence with regard to the departments of female student.
- 12- Preparing and submitting comprehensive periodic reports for the dean of the college on study progress and performance in the departments of female students
- 13- Following-up the update of college website with regard to its deanship and its administrative units.
- 14- Executing the tasks assigned by the dean of the college.
- 15- Proposing the formation of committees for student activities in the college.
- 16- Approving an increase in the number of female students in classes in coordination with the concerned departments and the Deanship of Admission and Registration.
- 17- Approving and rejecting disqualification lists according to the related regulations and authorization permissions.
- 18- Approving to accept student excuses as needed in accordance with the rules and regulations.
- 19- Recommending the appointment of supervisors of units and departments under authority.
- 20- Addressing the relevant authorities within the university regarding the mandate and scope of Deanship
- 21- Issuing the internal decisions required for workflow in the Deanship of the College and its units in accordance with the rules and regulations.
- 22- Approving the disbursement of Deanship budget and its custody in accordance with regulations.
- 23- Proposing new classes for female students at the request of the concerned department and in coordination with the Vice Dean for Educational and Academic Affairs
- 24- Evaluating the performance of female administrators in the college
- 25- Approving regular and emergency leave of female administrators in the college.
