College council includes: the dean as president; vice deans; heads of departments; and three faculty members at most.
One of the members is preferred to be the representative of the college in the Scientific Council.
The College Council meets at least once a month, and a meeting is only valid if two-thirds of its members are present.
Council’s decisions are issued by a majority vote of the members present. The side on which the president is in shall prevail in the event of a tie.
The decisions of the Council shall be considered valid unless objection is received from the Vice Dean for Educational and Academic Affairs within (15) fifteen days from the date of receiving the decisions by the vice dean. If the Vice Dean for Educational and Academic Affairs objects to it, he returns it to the college council, accompanied by his point of view, to be reconsidered. If the Council maintains its opinion, the objected decision is referred to the University Council for decision in the first ordinary or exceptional session, and the University Council has the right to ratify, amend or cancel the decision, and its decision is final.
The council delegates the college dean with all his powers except for the appointment during the summer vacation period, provided that all decisions and recommendations taken during this period are presented in the first session of the college council after the vacation.
