Program Mission:
Preparing qualified national cadres capable of development in the field of jurisprudence and its foundations, equipped with scientific and research knowledge and skills, and Islamic values, to contribute to the production of solid scientific research through distinguished curricula and a stimulating environment to meet the needs of society
Program Objectives:
- Providing students with the knowledge, theories and skills necessary to derive jurisprudence and fundamental rulings in accordance with the legitimate purposes
- Preparing cadres capable of creating creative perceptions of the problems of contemporary calamities in the field of jurisprudence and its foundations to develop them in accordance with the correct scientific orientations for the purposes of Islamic legislation.
- Preparing graduates specialized in achieving and conducting good scientific research.3
- Active participation with public and private community institutions related to the purposes of Islamic legislation.
- Qualifying graduates who are able to participate responsibly within work teams and in accordance with professional rules and ethical principles, and have the ability to self-development and continuous learning to meet emerging issues in the field of specialization
Possesses knowledge of the principles, concepts and theories in the field of jurisprudence and its principles.
It shows an objective understanding of the issues and theories in the specialization and their connection with other disciplines
Possesses the ability to identify problems, review previous studies in the field of jurisprudence and its principles, collect and analyze data, and come up with recommendations in this regard.
Possesses the ability to conduct solid scientific research in the field of jurisprudence and its principles.
Possesses the skill of continuous learning according to his self-assessment of his needs, and keeping pace with modern knowledge in the field of jurisprudence and its principles.
Contributes with his knowledge and skill to serve the community.
Possesses the ability to lead, assume responsibility, and be willing to cooperate fully with others on joint projects and initiatives.
Adheres to the generally accepted professional and ethical principles.
Adapts to different variables through continuous self-development

- Obtaining at least 70% in the university aptitude test.
- Full-time or part-time study.
- Memorize five parts of the Noble Qur’an.
- Pass the written exam.
- Pass the personal interview
- Two (2) scientific recommendations
- The approval of the employer, if he is an employee.
- Required grade: In accordance with the unified regulations for postgraduate studies and its executive rules for Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University
