The Alumni Unit organizes a workshop entitled “Researcher Skills in Postgraduate Studies”
The Alumni Unit at the College of Education organized a workshop targeting master’s, and bachelor’s students and graduates entitled: “Researcher Skills in Postgraduate Studies” on the evening of Monday, 24- 7- 1445 AH, via Zoom.
Presented by Dr. Sahar Abdo Elsayed- Associate Professor in Curriculum and Instruction Department, with the aim of:
- Defining the characteristics of a distinguished researcher.
- highlighting scientific research methodology.
- Appreciating the importance of writing world-class scientific research.
- clarifying the ethics of conducting scientific research.
The workshop also included cloud application activities, including writing expected topics on Word Cloud, as well as practical application on how to search for Arabic and foreign knowledge sources through the Saudi Digital Library through the Deanship of Library Affairs, and the electronic learning management system (Blackboard), and searching for Arabic journals classified in International databases, including Arab Scout, Arab Impact Factor, and Arcif, and concluding with brainstorming on the ethics of conducting scientific research, and some research databases supported by artificial intelligence, including Semanticscholar.
Several participants attended the meeting, and they expressed their great benefit from the rich topics included in the workshop.
