he Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has been keen to serve people with disabilities and empower them in society, so the Kingdom's Vision 2030 came to reinforce this concept by providing the necessary services to empower them in society and grant them their full medical, social, educational and employment rights. Here comes the role of the Special Education Department at Prince Sattam University in contributing to empowering people with disabilities and enhancing their societal role through the rehabilitation, training and development of specialized cadres, and work on research and studies. That meet the needs of the field of persons with disabilities. In particular, the department is distinguished by a qualitative master's program at the level of the Arab world in the field of transitional services for people with disabilities, which works directly on the rehabilitation of specialists in the field so that they contribute to the process of transition of a person with a disability from education to work according to the latest effective international practices. In addition, another qualitative master's program in the field of Deaf Education and Studies which qualifies teachers to learn the latest theories and strategies in teaching reading and writing to deaf people and sign language translation.
