1. Objectives: The course seeks to achieve several objectives, the most important of which are the following:
• Students learn basic concepts in applied educational statistics.
• Provide the student with the skill of analyzing and interpreting the data according to the hypotheses or questions of the scientific study.
• The student appreciates the importance of accuracy and honesty in the applied educational statistics.
2. The content: This course contains: basic concepts in applied educational statistics, statistical methods such as central tendency measures, dispersion measures, methods of calculating the validity and stability of search tools, and definition of explanatory statistics such as statistical hypotheses, type 1 error, The level of confidence, the strength of the statistical test, the level of significance, the size of the impact, how to benefit from it, and the use of the SPSS program in data analysis and interpretation.
3. Evaluation Methods: The course outputs will be evaluated by means of: oral and editorial tests, individual research evaluation, presentations, and assessment of knowledge contained in individual and group duties.
