Tasks:
1. Establishing internal regulations and methods for organizing work according to the special regulations applicable in the field of libraries.
2. Receiving and recording all books and publications received by the library and taking the necessary procedures regarding them.
3. Indexing books and entering them into the libraries’ automated search system (Symphony).
4. Classifying books and arranging them on shelves according to the Dewey Decimal Classification.
5. Loaning to all beneficiaries of the educational and administrative staff and female postgraduate students - bachelor’s degrees, and verifying the duration of the loan, the number of books loaned, and the penalties in the event of delay, loss, or damage.
6. Meeting the reader-researcher’s need to answer various questions.
7. The possibility of the beneficiary entering the digital library through the electronic portal to facilitate access to information in the quickest time and with the least effort.
8. General supervision of the workflow in the library.
9. Responsible for the outgoing and incoming files.
10. Annual inventory of library books.
11. Annual report on the library’s work. (Unit)
12. Activities to attract female students to reading. Example (Best Pioneers Competition).
