1- Introduction to the Department:
Kindergarten Department is one of the Education College in Al Kharj departments. It was established in 1433/1434H, while the study began by the first semester of the same year. The department is dedicated for female students only.
The department grants bachelor degree in kindergarten major. Its academic program extends to four years divided in eight semesters. The academic program contains 66 course divided into university, college and department requirements.
The graduates are able to complete their postgraduate studies in any university. They are able to work as educator in children education institution. In addition, they are able to work with Social Affairs by addressing societal issues related to childhood.

Proceeding from the importance of the kindergarten stage and its decisive role in building the child’s personality and developing all aspects of growth and development in a comprehensive manner, the Kindergarten Department was established in the College of Education in Al-Kharj in 1433 AH, where a bachelor’s degree is awarded in the specialty of kindergarten after the student passes (135) It includes an elite group of faculty members who specialize in early childhood education and who actively contribute to the preparation of kindergarten teachers with scientific and skill qualifications. The Kingdom’s vision 2030 also stipulates providing quality education opportunities according to a variety of options for each child through education. Using the latest teaching methods.
The Kindergarten Department is keen to prepare and qualify national cadres specialized in the field of kindergarten in an integrated and balanced manner, cognitively, professionally and educationally, in line with global developments in the field of child education and education, and in line with the objectives of the Kingdom’s vision 2030, which states “to provide citizens with knowledge and The skills necessary to meet the needs of the future labor market.
