Objectives:
Within the framework of the objectives of the College of Education, which aims to prepare highly qualified teachers and educational experts, the Curriculum and Instruction Department seeks to achieve the following objectives:
- Preparing educational cadres by providing them with theoretical and practical experiences in teaching strategies, the foundations of building curricula and their organization, evaluating and developing them, and employing information and communication technology.
- Preparing academic and research cadres capable of keeping pace with modern trends and capable of developing educational practices by diagnosing educational problems and proposing creative solutions to meet the needs of society.
- Providing graduate studies programs in specializations that meet the needs of the labor market and development plans in the Kingdom.
- Conducting many high-level research in the field of curricula and teaching methods according to a plan aimed at upgrading the department's services in accordance with the latest global trends and theories.
- Achieving community partnership with all community bodies and institutions concerned with education by linking all services provided by the department to the community’s needs and future plans, and providing educational and research consultancies specialized in the field of curricula and teaching strategies to the concerned authorities.
