The College of Education organizes a breast cancer awareness campaign
The World Health Organization has decided that the month of October of each year should be devoted to awareness and education about breast cancer, which is considered the number one killer of women around the world, as the 2022 statistics reached (63,000). Therefore, the College of Education at Prince Sattam Bin Abdulaziz University, represented by the Cultural and Social Activities Committee, launched The Activities Committee of the Arabic Language Department and the Public Relations Unit launched an educational awareness campaign in cooperation with Prince Salman bin Muhammad Hospital in Dalam and the University Hospital.
The campaign began on Wednesday 3- 4- 1445 AH, with a lecture presented by Dr. Hadiya Othman Al-Hajj - family medicine specialist at Prince Salman Bin Muhammad Hospital in Delam - where she discussed breast cancer, its symptoms, the importance of early detection, and ways to prevent it, calling for adopting the appropriate health system.
