launch of the preparatory conference
Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University seeks to raise the level of the spirit of competition among its male and female students by organizing many competitions and forums. Therefore, the Deanship of Student Affairs was keen for the Student Scientific Forum to be an exceptional event aimed at discovering students’ talents in many areas, whether in research, innovation, or Pioneering projects, as well as volunteer initiatives and awareness-raising films that aim to promote Islamic values, identity, and patriotism, and these five represent the basic axes from which this year’s forum was launched.
Out of the interest of the Student Work Unit at the College of Education, represented by the coordination of the forum, the first phase of the preparatory forum was launched, which was the announcement of the forum and its axes, conditions, and controls. Through the use of various means, represented by advertising billboards at the main college entrances, through social media, and visual display means in the courtyards and corridors, which provide all the information the student needs about the forum.
An introductory guide was prepared for female college students, inspired by the procedural guide for the forum, which was developed by the Deanship of Social Affairs. Male and female students were provided with a link for registration, as well as a link to the introductory guide. Coordination of the forum at the College of Education level seeks to reach the largest segment of female students before the start of the second phase, which is the introductory meeting and the organization of workshops and training courses on the themes of the forum with the participation of an elite group of male and female faculty members.
