The college celebrates World Children's Day
Allah, for the sake of childhood alone... spread the blessings of peace to the East and the West.
Childhood is that age stage in which a person carries memories for the rest of his life. In it, his dreams grow and continue, in which he creates the coming of his days in small lines so that they become his reality. Due to the importance of this stage, the United Nations has designated a global day to celebrate childhood under the name of World Children’s Day, and the College of Education has been keen to activate its representation. In the Department of Cultural and Social Activities, in cooperation with the Department of Arabic Language and Literature and the Department of Early Childhood, on the morning of Monday, the twentieth of the month of Jumada al-Awwal, 1445 AH, by organizing a childhood festival.
It included many pillars that were prepared and produced with the Early Childhood category, which combines education and entertainment. It had previously invited children from the college’s affiliates to be flowers exuding their fragrance and blessings from heaven descending on earth.
As for the most important pillars that the festival included, it included the Play and Learn Corner, which included some educational games such as classifying animals, making dolls, and pronouncing letters in the Arabic language in their different places. Then the children moved to the Play and Fun Corner, where various movement competitions were held among them, appropriate to their ages, and then they ate... The children had a healthy meal with some instructions to create healthy food that serves their bodies. Then the children moved to the drawing corner and there they practiced their hobbies in combining colors and drawing pictures. Then I showed them and their companions a set of different applications that serve the child in various areas of life. After that, they visited the My Green City corner, where they planted Some seedlings to emphasize the importance of preserving flowers and trees so that their city is a green paradise.
In conclusion, the children enjoyed watching some educational and entertaining visual shows through the children’s cinema corner, and at the conclusion of the festival, some gifts were distributed to the children to carry the beautiful memories they lived within the College of Education.
