About:
This unit is concerned with planning and organizing the implementation of community service activities provided by the College and its employees to the community. Periodic evaluation of these services based on the opinions of the beneficiaries, and direct them to meet the needs of the community in the governorates served by the College.
Community Service Unit Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Monitoring, organizing, documenting and developing community service activities
- Urging College employees to participate in community service activities.
- Following up the documentation of activities that serve the community, including forums, events, lectures, seminars, conferences, and so on
- Issuing certificates for participating in activities conducted in cooperation with the Development Unit.
- Receiving and documenting forms of participation in community service activities.
- Preparing a report on community service activities and submitting it to the Vice Dean for Development and Quality.
- Evaluating College's participation in community service activities and events.
- Assisting the Vice Dean for Development and Quality in planning and organizing what would facilitate the workflow of the unit.
- Communicating with the Deanship of Community Service to implement Deanship's activities in the College.
Organizational structure of the unit:
The unit is affiliated with the Vice Deanship of the College of Education for Postgraduate Studies, Scientific Research and Quality.

Functions of the Unit:
1. Strengthening the link and interaction between the college and the community.
2. Providing courses and training programs in various fields for various community bodies within and outside the university.
3. Presenting distinguished initiatives from the academic programs of the college to serve the community.
4. Spreading the culture of distinguished volunteer work to serve the community.
5. Providing the largest possible sector in society with cultural and cognitive needs.
6. Meeting the needs of society and the requirements of the labor market.
