Guidance and Counseling Unit Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Assisting female students in solving the problems they face, whether they are academic, psychological, social, economic or family problems, and then taking appropriate treatment methods according to the circumstances of each case.
- Providing financial aid, subsidies or loans, to female students in need, taking into account strict confidentiality in accordance with the rules established in the fund's regulations.
- Writing excuses for female students who are absent for a compelling social reason.
- Informing students of how to study well and prepare for exams.
- Providing advice and consultancy to female students who need help to overcome problems they face and affect their academic achievement.
- Helping female students to bring out their true abilities and energies.
- Guiding female students to achieve excellence and innovation according to their abilities and capabilities.
- Assisting female students in facing educational, psychological or social issues within the academic range of the university.
- Conducting various training courses, seminars and lectures that serve student guidance.
- Guiding female students to take advantage of the services available in the College to help them achieve social, psychological and academic adjustment.
- Studying the social, behavioral and psychological cases of female students by specialists.
- Guiding female students to benefit from the various educational resources in the College (library and extracurricular activity)
- Providing health counseling in cooperation with the Health Unit in College.
- Studying negative behavioral phenomena among female students, such as stealing, lying, or other behaviors that are inconsistent with the College's systems, values, and standards.
- Conducting open meetings and forums concerned with the social aspect for the educational and administrative staff of the College.
- Developing the spirit of loyalty and belonging among female students towards the university.
- Guiding female students towards choosing the academic majors that suit their abilities and inclinations.

Functions of the Unit:
- Studying the causes of academic failure among female students so that they do not reach academic failure, including family and psychological reasons for this failure.
- Studying the problems of female students that they face and helping them to face these problems, whether psychological or social.
- Raising community awareness of psychological and social issues related to youth, in order to avoid any psychological problems in which female students stumble.
- Helping the student develop her psychological compatibility by providing psychological counseling and some workshops to train her on sound habits to confront some negative behaviours such as anxiety, or to develop some skills such as innovative thinking skills.
- Providing financial aid to students in need.
