Field education works to provide society with qualified cadres according to the latest methods, and educational methods adopted in the most prestigious universities, and sustainable development in all fields, which are in harmony with the mission of Prince Sattam Bin Abdulaziz University and its philosophy in achieving its vision.
The general objective of the field education course:
Preparing the best administrative and technical arrangements necessary for practical training for student teachers in the nominated kindergartens and schools in accordance with the training standards and specific objectives.

Knowledge and understanding:
•Identifies the competencies necessary for the teacher to exercise his professional roles inside and outside the classroom.
•Clarifies the objectives of the academic stage and the curriculum that he is training to teach.
• Analyze the main teaching skills into their sub-skills.
•Identifies the characteristics of the age group of students in the stage he studies.
Skills:
•Plans some lessons in the specialty curricula under the supervision of the academic supervisor.
•Implement some lessons in the specialty curricula using modern and appropriate teaching strategies.
•Students’ achievement in the lessons implemented is monitored by the cooperating teacher

Tasks and responsibilities of the field training unit based on the regulations governing field training:
1. Holding meetings and gatherings to implement and develop the work.
2. Continuously review and update the field training guide and develop it in line with the list of regulatory procedures for field training approved by the Agency for Educational and Academic Affairs.
3. Build a field training plan that includes the list of supervisors nominated for field training, training sites, and field visits, and submit it to the University’s Educational and Academic Affairs Agency for approval.
4. Develop and implement a qualification and training program for field training students.
5. Ensuring adherence to the academic calendar dates for field training issued by the University Vice Presidency for Educational and Academic Affairs.
6. Preparing a final report on field training at the college that includes the numbers of trained students, training destinations, specializations, training outcomes, positives and negatives from the point of view of: students, academic supervisors, and cooperating teachers, and presenting recommendations for improvement based on that.
7. Contributing to the development of the electronic field training portal on the university’s website (by submitting proposals and mechanisms).
