Mission
Providing an educational environment with a clear vision that comply with quality standards by achieving excellence in performing the work entrusted to Schedules and Examination Unit to ensure the regularity of the educational process and improve its quality
Objectives
- Organizing the progress of study and exams at the College.
- Enhancing the evaluation of the educational process by enhancing the quality of tests.
- Supporting and assisting female students in enrollment in academic courses, dropping and addition of courses for non-fresh students.
- Coordinating with the academic departments to facilitate their work regarding the educational process
Unit Tasks and Responsibilities
- Preparing and reviewing courses schedules for each semester for undergraduate and graduate programs in accordance with the specific standards defined by the Deanship of Educational and Academic Affairs in the College.
- Setting schedules for final exams in College and incomplete exams. Announcing it long enough before its conduction.
- Linking course subject to its prerequisite according to its related plan and detecting the clashes in courses schedule
- Reservation of classrooms and television network halls in the College
- Optimal distribution of students to classes in schedules at the beginning of each semester.
- Assigning classes to faculty members before each semester and coordinating with other Colleges with which classes are common
- Following up classes during the enrollment of students, and adding, dropping or replacing classes through the E-Register system
- Solving students' problems of transferring between classes by deleting or dropping classes.
- Setting schedules for final exams in College in coordination with the relevant academic departments and Colleges regarding time and place of conduction, identifying the proctor for each exam, and following up on the exams directly.
- Solving the problem of clash in the dates of final exams and make alternative schedules
- Daily follow-up to ensure that exams are conducted as required
- Following up absence and cheating, and take the necessary measures in accordance with the regulations.
- Announcing the start of incomplete exams and setting their schedule
