First: Requirements of the Unified Regulations for Graduate Studies
- The applicant must be a Saudi citizen or, if non-Saudi, have an official scholarship for graduate studies.
- The applicant must have a university degree from a Saudi or any accredited university.
- The applicant must be of good behavior, fair reputation and medically fit
- The applicant must submit two letters of recommendation from professors who have taught him/her.
- The applicant, if employed, must provide a letter of consent from his/her current employer to join the program.
- The departmental council can require applicants to a master’s or doctorate program study a number of prerequisite courses from a lower degree program.
- No applicant shall be allowed to be admitted in two graduate programs at the same time.
Second: General Admission Requirements for Graduate Studies
- The applicant must be a Saudi citizen or, if non-Saudi, have an official scholarship for graduate studies.

- The applicant must Achieve 70% of university aptitude test
- The applicant must be of good behavior, fair reputation and medically fit
- The applicant must submit two letters of recommendation from professors who have taught him/her.
- The applicant, if employed, must provide a letter of consent from his/her current employer to join the program.
Requirements of the Department
- The applicant must have a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in one of the educational disciplines, with the exception of holders of non-educational qualifications only if they study complementary subjects specified by the department or obtain an educational qualification.
- Preference shall be given to those with experience in the field of teaching or education administration
- Passing the written test determined by the department
- Passing the personal interview determined by the department
