The Student Services Unit always seeks to reach all aspects in which students and staff are comfortable alike, and also implement all complaints received by students regarding the cafeteria or library or from their employees or any other complaint of any kind, and also regarding the loss of private purposes and providing assistance to students as much as possible. The unit also provides health and psychological assistance and tries to solve all the students' personal and other problems if the students request it as soon as possible. The unit has also developed a plan to collect books, references and supplies and present them to students in need.
Functions of the Unit:
The Student Services Unit performs many of its tasks, which are as follows:
First: the cafeteria
The Student Services Unit is Careful to excellence in providing its services, and the diversity that the college students and employees need in the prepared and equipped sites, in cooperation with the private sector. Appetizers and various types of pastries.
The performance of the restaurant is monitored in terms of:
- Supervised by the Nutrition Supervisor and Head of the Student Services Unit
- Ensuring the employment of Saudi women and the necessity of conducting a medical examination that shows the health fitness of the worker.
- Make frequent daily rounds and follow up to ensure that hygiene, security and safety conditions are applied.
- Demanding to secure some necessary equipment and tools for the restaurant.
- Monitoring sales prices compared to market prices.
- Monitoring the expiration date of food products.
- Receiving students' notes and dealing with them as necessary.
- Listening to the female students’ suggestions regarding the development of the services provided by the restaurant, and submitting them to the competent authorities.
Second: Automated machines:
They are self-serving machines for students and employees, and a number of machines have been provided in the college yards to provide additional services for students.
There are many types of automatic machines available in the college, including:
- Meal machines and juices.
- Hot drink machine
- Special water machines.
Third: Photography Center:
This center provides copying, photocopying and printing services at reasonable prices. In this center, the preparation and sale of the prescribed study notes that are secured by the college.
The center is supervised in terms of:
- price control.
- Monitor imaging quality and clarity.
- Following up maintenance of machines in coordination with the center's employees.
Fourth: The Commercial Library:
The library works to provide textbooks, scientific, cultural and various books, as well as some Stationery such as pens, notebooks, etc…., and practical necessities for the student, such as providing threads and colours of all kinds, drawing and sewing tools, clay dough and leather pieces.
The library is supervised in terms of selling prices control.
