It is responsible for the development and training of College's employees through a set of activities, programs, courses and advisory services.

Objectives
- Spreading the culture of quality in the academic and administrative units
- Spreading the culture of constant development and improvement in the College.
- Planning and implementing what would develop the academic and administrative units to comply the standards of academic accreditation in the College.
- Preparing training plans for employees of the academic and administrative units in the College
- Development of professional skills
- Development of leadership and management capabilities
Main tasks conducted by the development unit include:
- Implementing the plans and policies of the Deanship of Development and Quality.
- Determining the training needs to develop the skills of the employees of the academic and administrative units.
- Following up the implementation of quality programs, performance evaluation and professional development.
- Participating in the development and implementation of a system for questionnaires analysis that determine the opinion of target groups about activities implemented by the unit
- Developing an information system to collect, sort and store information that is needed for the unit to perform its tasks.
- Coordinating communication between academic and administrative units regarding training plans.
- Following up the mechanisms and regulations of work and making suggestions to develop them.
- Preparing annual improvement plan for the development unit
The unit Seeks to Pursuing to compete in attaining advanced levels in planning and development standards.
Functions of the Unit:
- Assembling and reviewing the comprehensive and executive strategic plan for the college.
- Presenting support to departments, units and committees in planning issues.
- Monitoring the implementation of plans and submit reports concerning them.
- Arranging training programs in the field of planning and skills development in all fields, to achieve high levels of performance and productivity.
