Introducing the unit:
It supervises and trains the use of educational technologies, e-learning and distance education systems for faculty members, technical support for faculty devices, and communication with the Deanship of Information Technology and Distance Education regarding these tasks.

Maintaining the infrastructure to help provide electronic services and e-learning to the college community
It helps in the electronic transformation of the educational, academic, financial and administrative processes of the college to reach the provision of electronic transactions and services
Assist in the development and delivery of e-learning solutions to serve the educational process and provide distance education programs
- Provides technical support maintenance for modern educational technologies at the level of classrooms, laboratories and departments in the college
Objectives:
The unit, through coordination with the Deanship of Information Technology and Distance Education, seeks to achieve the following goals through:
1/ Providing the necessary technical support services for educational technologies at the level of classrooms, laboratories, and college administrations
2/ Provide and publish the electronic content of the college
3 / Training of faculty members, students and administrators on modern technologies
4/ Training of college employees on the interactive e-learning system
Unit tasks:
1- Communicate with the Deanship of Information Technology and Distance Education
2-Training faculty members and technicians on the use of educational technologies
3-Training faculty members on e-learning systems in cooperation with the Deanship of Information Technology and Distance Education
4- Supervising the uploading and downloading of the college’s electronic content
5- Solve any problem related to the college’s electronic content by communicating with the Deanship of Information Technology
6-Following up the maintenance of computers, accessories and printing machines for all college facilities.
7- Receiving reports of technical malfunctions and writing them down daily to the technical support supervisor and following up on their implementation.
8- Submitting reports to the electronic technical support system in order to deal with the malfunctions and fix them
9- Equipping the new computers, printers and other information technology devices supplied to the university with the appropriate operating systems and installing them for the beneficiaries.
10- Addressing the Deanship of Information Technology regarding the provision of Internet service and repairing it in the event of any malfunction, and following up on it.
11- Follow up the operation and maintenance of educational equipment in the classrooms.
12- Preparing periodic reports on achievements and suggestions
Functions of the Unit:
- Providing technical support services for all technical devices and various programs.
- Update, install and maintain the necessary software.
- Definition of hardware and accessories for computers.
- Following up the computer labs and perform the necessary periodic maintenance if necessary.
- Following up malfunctions of wired and wireless computer networks.
- Providing various electronic services to all faculty members.
- Providing various telephone services (activation-cancellation-modification) for faculty members.
- Receiving, distributing and organizing telephone devices based on the need for their use.
- Coordination with the departments and units of the college to determine their various needs of technical devices and follow up their provision with the competent authorities to ensure the quality and development of work.
- Creating and equipping computers and software for faculty members.
- Coordination with the Deanship of Information Technology to provide computer programs and systems.
- Technical preparation for the events held in the college.
- Technical supervision of all installation works of technical devices received by the college.
- Do periodic maintenance at the end of each academic year by making sure that the equipment is working well.
- Preparing reports on the validity of devices.
